Welcoming Sajan Khosla to Bitfount's advisory board

We are excited and honoured to announce that Sajan Khosla has joined Bitfount’s advisory board. Sajan's commitment to enhancing human health through Digital Health and AI capabilities is consistent with Bitfount's vision. He believes in the transformative power of AI in healthcare, especially in maintaining high privacy standards. 

With a career spanning over 18 years in life sciences, Sajan began his journey in Molecular Biology, focusing on identifying new molecular targets for cancer treatments. His career trajectory significantly changed when he joined the National Health Service at the University Hospitals Birmingham where he led a team of Clinical Informatics specialists. 

Currently serving as the Executive Director, Global Head of Late Data Science and Real World Evidence (RWE), Oncology R&D at AstraZeneca. Sajan Khosla stands at the forefront of integrating data science with real-world evidence (RWE) in oncology. As the Head of Late Data Science and RWE at AstraZeneca, Sajan has been pivotal in establishing a novel Data Science and RWE unit. This unit is dedicated to harnessing the full spectrum of Data Science and RWE capabilities to address critical challenges in R&D. He plays a key role in the adoption of Real World Data, Machine Learning, and AI technologies, enhancing the analysis of these data sets and expanding AstraZeneca's Real World Evidence capacity. His work is crucial in empowering data-driven decision-making within the asset pipeline, thus advancing the development of innovative medicines supported by robust evidence for regulatory bodies.
